Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late, John E. and Patricia A. (Stuart) Moore. Raised and educated in Dorchester, she attended Boston Public Schools and Cardinal Cushing High School. She and her husband, John, settled in Haverhill in June 1984.\t\tMrs. Morrison spent her career in retail and customer service  she put her husband through college by working at Shiffman\u2019s fine draperies in Field\u2019s Corner.  When she and her husband moved to Haverhill she began work at the prestigious Pentucket Shoe Store fitting all the children in a loving way. After a time she transferred to the Northeast Credit Union as a teller. After her son was born she returned to retail shoe sales working at both Hyman\u2019s in Newburyport, MA and Red\u2019s Shoe Barn in Plaistow, NH.She enjoyed cooking and baking. Famously serving gigantic pancake breakfasts for all her neighbors on Mt Dustin Ave. Her husband\u2019s co-workers often benefitted by receiving delicious loaves of irish bread and zuchini bread.While her allergies prevented her from having a pet of her own she connected with many of her neighbor\u2019s dogs. Incredibly close bonds were formed with Buddy, Harley, and Maggie. She was an avid reader, having recently purchased a Kindle. She loved all types of stories. Having read the Clan of the Cave Bear series multiple times, she devoured romance novels and was quite taken with 50 Shades of Grey.  She had strong opinions as to which actor should play Chrsitian Grey in the upcoming movie.In addition to books she used movies to get an understanding of the human condition. Her favorite movies included Fried Green Tomatoes, Legally Blonde, and The Green Mile.   She had an extensive collection of DVD\u2019s and VHS tapes.She leaves her beloved husband of thirty-five years, John F. Morrison, of Haverhill, her loving son, Sean R. Morrison and his partner, Brittany Fitzgerald, also of Haverhill, two sisters, Janet Hallett and her husband, Robert, of Ayer, Patricia Moore and her partner, Brian Martin, of Haverhill, two brothers, John Moore, also of Ayer, and Joseph Moore, of Fayetteville, NC, brothers in law, Bernard Morrison and his wife, Janet, of Dorchester, Francis Morrison and his wife Marcie, of Somerdale, NJ, James Morrison and his wife, Wanda, of Randolph, and Robert Morrison and his partner, Traci McDaniel, of Clarksville, TN, sisters in law, Claire Comaschi and her husband, John, of Randolph, Judith Morrison and her partner, Elmer Dykes, of Orlando, FL, sister in law, Gina Paglucia-Morrison, of Arlington, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Joanne Hugal, and brother in law, Paul Morrison.Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Friday, from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the Kevin B.
