Born in Atlanta, GA he was the son of the late William and Naomi (Hart) Garlington. William was educated in the Atlanta school system and after graduating he served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean conflict and was honorably discharged. He worked for many years at APEM Components in Haverhill as a silk screen printer and retired in 2003.  William is survived by his children, William C. Garlington and his wife Lisa of Holbrook  Laurie-Ann Garlington of London, England  Charles N. \u201cChuck\u201d Garlington and his wife Samantha of Haverhill  and Matthew E. Garlington and his wife Samantha of New Bedford  his grandchildren, Trinton and Leah Garlington  Morgan and Jennah Garlington  and Neeyah, Ayla and Levi Garlington. Family and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours on Thursday July 2<sup><span style=\"color: #000000  font-size: small \">nd<\/sup> from 4pm until 6pm at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 15, at 11:00 AM at the Unitarian Universalist Church,15 Kenoza Ave., Haverhill. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Linwood Cemetery.
