Haverhill \u2013 Frank P. Conte, 90, husband of the late Lena A. (Ferullo) Conte, passed away at home on August 10, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Federico and Jennie (Grassi) Conte. He was raised and educated in Haverhill and attended Haverhill public schools. Frank served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. Frank was lovingly known as \u201cPapa\u201d to his family, who he adored. Sunday dinner was very important to him and he enjoyed having all his family with him. He was employed at Raytheon as an Inspector for many years and was a union leader. Frank was an active member of the Garibaldi Club in Haverhill. He enjoyed playing cards and horse racing. Every Friday night he would meet with friends at Orzo Restaurant in No. Andover. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his daughter in law, Terri M. Schena of Haverhill and was predeceased by his son Frederick J. Conte four grandchildren, Eric Conte and his wife Meredith Angela Conte-Iannalfo and Dana Iannalfo R.J. Schena and his wife Julie Jarod Schena and his wife Brooke seven great grandchildren, Ava, Ali, Freddie, Gabby, Piper, Cooper and Reagan and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Marino Conte, Alfred Conte, Amerilo (Speed) Conte, Sebastian (PeeWee) Conte, Orlando (Lindy) Conte, Rudolph (Rudi) Conte, Angelina (Angie) Conte, Agnes Bevilacqua and Vera Wenige. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, August 13 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will begin on Monday morning at 9:00AM from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00AM at St. John the Baptist Church, 110 Lincoln Avenue, Haverhill.
