Haverhill \u2013 Anthony L. Fronterotta, Sr., 90, passed away July 1, 2017 at Wingate Nursing home in Haverhill surrounded by his loving family.Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Lodovico and Carolina (Spacone) Fronterotta. Raised and educated in Haverhill, he was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1945. After graduation he served his country in the United States Army serving during World War II in Germany and was honorably discharged. He continued his education at Bentley College School of Accounting and Finance, where he obtained his degree as a CPA in 1950. Anthony was employed at the former Western Electric, and retired after 30 years from Lucent as a Finance Officer. He was a member of the Haverhill Golf and Country Club and a lifetime member of Telephone Pioneers of America. After retirement he enjoyed spending his winters in West Palm Beach. Anthony was a communicant of All Saints Parish in Haverhill. He enjoyed spending time golfing and playing cards with friends and family. He most enjoyed spending time with his family. Anthony is survived by his children, Anthony L. Fronterotta Jr. and his wife Karen of Florida Mark P. Fronterotta and his wife Liz of California and his daughter and caregiver Dawn M. Fronterotta of Haverhill stepchildren Daniel Beauregard and his wife Susan of Haverhill Sharon Utley and her husband David of Florida and two grandchildren Mark II and Christine Fronterotta and step grandchildren and step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sisters Mary Ebba, Anita Barberio and Angelina Scalese his former wife Rita M. Fronterotta and stepchildren Priscilla Garrett and Richard Beauregard. Services are private and there will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
