Haverhill \u2013 Adam M. Wood, 36, passed away March 17, 2019 at his home in Haverhill.Born in Haverhill, he was the son of Craig M. and Dianne M. (Murphy) Wood of Bradford. Educated in the Haverhill school system, Adam was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 2001. He was a copper roofing expert, working for Calewood Construction Company as a foreman and most recently for Twin Metals Construction Company. Adam loved all of the New England sports teams and enjoyed watching his niece play basketball, attending her games and was proud of his nephew CJ\u2019s wrestling career. He enjoyed fishing at local ponds, camping and playing 45\u2019s. Adam liked cruising on his Harley Davison motorcycle. After Hurricane Harvey hit the Houston, Texas area, Adam volunteered and helped rebuild after the storm. He took much pride in restoring the families prized building \u201cThe Kimball Tavern\u201d in Bradford Common. He loved his niece and nephew and his dog \u201cEllie\u201d. Adam loved his family and was truly loyal to all. He was a friend to all, especially his friend \u201cBill W\u201d. Adam will be missed by all who knew and loved him.In addition to his loving parents, Adam is survived by his brothers, Cale M. Wood and his wife Valerie (Chase) Wood of Bradford Ryan E. Wood and Alyssa Lewis of Bradford aunts and uncles Rodney S. Wood of Haverhill Philip M. \u201cPep\u201d Wood and his wife Patricia of Haverhill Harold E. \u201cBud\u201d Wood and his wife Kathy of Bradford Tracy S. Wood and his wife Ruth of Danville, NH and Jaimie S. Wood of Haverhill great aunt, Midge Wood of Plaistow, NH an uncle, Philip Smith of England his uncle Robert Desmarais and his wife Kathy of New Fields, NH aunt Jennifer Murphy of Bradford uncle Jeremiah Murphy of Epping, NH niece Grace Wood and nephew Cale \u201cCJ\u201d Wood, Jr. his cousins who were like brothers and sisters to Adam, Shane Wood, Andrew Wood, Matt Wood, Evan Tierney, Kim Wood, Elizabeth Tierney and Melissa Wood close friends, Billy, Bennie, Sean, Matt and Pat several cousins locally and in England. He was predeceased by his uncles, Donald J. Wood and Garry K. Wood and aunts Cynthia Tierney and Shirley Downs.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, March 21 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will be on Friday in the funeral home at 11:00AM. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, 96 Salem Street, Bradford.
