Merrimac- Danny Charles Anzaldi Sr., 54, passed away on April 27, 2022.
Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Steven W. and Maryann (Tuck) Anzaldi. He graduated from Haverhill High School in the Class of 1986. For most of his adult life he was employed as a handyman and could always be counted on when a friend or relative needed help with a project of any size. He enjoyed rock music of all types, hard rock or soft rock or something in between, it didn’t matter as long as it was rock n’ roll. His skills as a handyman went far beyond homes and buildings, as he loved to fix motorcycles and bicycles.
Aside from his family and friends, his greatest love was the ocean and it was his lifelong dream to live there. He loved the ocean year round. In the summer, he would take his children and grandchildren clam digging. In the winter, he would take long walks on the beach and pause just to reflect upon the sounds of the ocean. Any time of the year that he could be at the beach, whether he was swimming, fishing, or just being with family he was happiest.
Family and friends will fondly remember the stories he shared of growing up, the people he knew, the people he lost, and the happy times that were had. He was always there to make you laugh or smile and he would give his last dollar to anyone who needed it.
He is survived by his son Danny Charles Anzaldi Jr. of New Hampshire, his daughter Tanya Marie (Anzadi) Simansky and her husband Ryan of Wilkes-Barre, PA, and his six beloved grandchildren; Kameron (Anzadi) Pickard, John “JJ” LeFevre Jr., Jeremiah Simansky, Josiah King Anzaldi, Deejay King Anzaldi, and Kataleya Clare Anzaldi. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sons Anthony Anzaldi and Eric Anzaldi, and his brother Steven Ben Anzaldi.
