Haverhill – Patricia Jean (Richards) LaPlume, 61, passed away on June 2, 2022 after a brief period of declining health.
Born in Wilmington to John F. and Helen (Merrill) Richards, she graduated from Wilmington High School in the Class of 1979. She was employed at Lauren Products in Lawrence as a receptionist for many years. Patricia was a competitive bowler and could often be seen “splitting pins” at Pilgrim Lanes in Haverhill. She volunteered with the Tewksbury Elks Lodge # 2070. Whether it was at cookouts, family reunions, cruising to the mountains, or going to Six Flags; she loved spending time with her family. But of all of these loves, none could compare with dancing to “I Got You Babe” in the arms of her beloved husband Dan. You always knew where you stood with Patty, as she spoke her mind with honesty.
She is survived by her husband Daniel R. LaPlume of Haverhill; her son Robert Bourassa and his wife Stephanie of Winchendon; her daughter Allyson Dominguez and her husband Daniel of Haverhill; her sister Cindy Stratton; and her grandchildren Jovi Bourassa, Mila Bourassa, Ariana Davis, and Amaya Dominguez; aunts, uncles, and cousins; all of whom will miss her dearly.
She was predeceased by her parents and her sister Inez Wheeler.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Sunday June 5, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home 486 Main Street Haverhill, MA 01830. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home on June 6, 2022 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:30 AM at St. Michaels Parish, 196 Main St., North Andover.
