David T. Green February 5, 1964 - April 6, 2019

Haverhill – David Timothy Green, 55, of Haverhill, formerly of Lynn and Topsfield passed away on April 6 at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill.                                                                                                                                           Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Loretta M. Green. Raised and educated in Lynn he was a graduate of Lynn High School, Class of 1982. He then continued his education at Kaplan University and received his Masters Degree in Juvenile Criminal Justice.  David was employed at Hill House in Rowley as a residential counselor until illness forced him into early retirement. He was a man of strong faith as he was active in his church. He was a loyal friend and possessed a great sense of humor. He enjoyed gardening and tended the memorial garden in Topsfield with loving care. A gifted musician, he played piano and was blessed with a beautiful voice and sang in his church choir. He was also a great cook and NASCAR fan. He was a resident in Topsfield for over 20 years where he worked to create a neighborhood watch in his community.                                                                                                                                                                               David is survived by his sister, Roxi Green-Iyawe and her husband Dickson Iyawe of Lynn, a brother, Pau Green of Bedford, two nephews Joshua Green and Onaje Iyawe and a niece, Zinara Iyawe and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends and family are respectfully invited to his funeral service on Thursday at 4:00 PM at the Our Savior Lutheran Church, 478 Boston St. Topsfield, MA . Burial is private. Memorial donations may be made in David’s name to Our Savior Lutheran Church, 478 Boston St. Topsfield, MA 01983. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kevin B.
