HAVERHILL – Shirley A. (Germinara) Kidder, 82, passed away on Sunday, March 17 at the Lakeview House Nursing Home in Haverhill.
Shirley was born in Haverhill to Angelo and Italia “Tillie” (Valentino) Germinara. She was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1960; she then attended Northern Essex Community College. Shirley was an excellent cook, an Elvis fan, and all about her family. She worked at the Ornstein Shoe shop in Haverhill, and as a hairstylist; she then worked for many years as a CNA at the Penacook Place Nursing Home in Haverhill. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff at the Lakeview House for their compassion and the wonderful care that Shirley received there.
Shirley leaves behind her sons Mark Kidder and Kathleen Goguen of Bradford, Robert Kidder Jr. of Haverhill, her daughter Lisa Kidder of Worcester; and siblings Robert Germinara, Angelo Germinara, Thomas Germinara, Joseph Germinara, Frances Bayer and her husband Hank, Theresa Wezesa, Catherine “Kathy” Deveau, and Rosemary Barberio. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Megan Kidder of Ocala, FL and Eric Kidder of Methuen.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, March 23 from 11AM until 1PM followed by a funeral home chapel service at 1PM at the Kevin B.
