PENSACOLA, FL – Troy J. Giampa, 59, formally of Haverhill, passed away on September 13, 2023 in Pensacola, FL.
Troy was born in Haverhill on July 8, 1964 to Joanne P. (Briggs) Burns and Glenn Giampa. He attended Haverhill public schools and was a graduate of Whittier Vocational Technical high School, Class of 1982, after which he worked as a sheet rocker and contractor in the building industry for many years. Troy loved going shopping, baking chocolate chip cookies, and foraging for wild mushrooms with his grandfather. Troy will be remembered as a loving father, son, brother and uncle. He will be dearly missed by all those he leaves behind.
Troy is survived by his mother Joanne P. (Briggs) Burns, of Plaistow, NH and his father Glenn F. Giampa, of Salisbury and step-mother Arlene Giampa, of Salisbury; his son Craig Giampa, of Lebanon, TN and daughter Trisha Giampa, of Lebanon, TN. He also leaves behind his brother Michael Giampa and Karen Fitzgerald, of Haverhill, MA and his sisters Sherri Giampa, of Raymond, NH, and Patty and Thomas Doucette, of Haverhill; and a grandchild Arabella Giampa.
Troy is predeceased by his step-father Edward L. Burns, and grandparents Harold and Nellie Briggs, and Joseph and Angelina Giampa.
