Atkinson, NH – Christel (Flore) Meinhold, 76, wife of the late Udo Meinhold, passed away peacefully November 14, 2018 at High Pointe Hospice in Haverhill with her loving family by her side.Born in Bielefeld, Germany during World War II, she was the first of two siblings, a brother and a sister. At the age of 18, she married Udo Meinhold, who was in the German Air Force. She was a textile weaver by trade and worked in the textile industry for several years. Christel was an avid tennis player and always enjoyed any physical activity. In 2004 with her husband, she moved to the United States to be near her daughter Martina. She was full of life and always had a smile on her face. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother she will always be remembered for her generous spirit and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.Christel is survived by her children, Martina White and her husband Don of Atkinson, NH a son Frank Meinhold two beloved grandsons, Marcel Meinhold and Christopher White and several nieces and nephew.A Memorial Service and celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, November 24 at 10:00AM at the Atkinson Congregational Church, Main Street, Atkinson, NH.
