Haverhill – Howard A. Speed, 61, passed away July 12, 2018 at Steward Holy Family Hospital in Methuen with his loving family by his side.Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Alden and Charlotte L. (Peavey) Speed. Raised and educated in Haverhill, he attended Haverhill Public Schools. Howard was employed for various manufacturing firms in the Merrimack Valley area. An animal lover, he had several snakes including Pythons and many other exotic pets. He was his own man throughout his life with a great sense of humor. Howard will be missed by all who knew and loved him.Howard is survived by his brother Faris D. Blancher and his wife Theresa A. of Haverhill nephews Howard Dolan of Kingston, NH and William Dolan of Lee, NH his special friend and caretaker, Kathleen A. Szpyt and her partner Daniel Anzaldi. He was predeceased by his sister Leslie A. Weiskopf.A Graveside service will be held on October 11 at 1:00PM at the Linwood Cemetery, John Ward Avenue, Haverhill. Arrangements by the Kevin B.
