Kenneth A. Welch

Raymond, NH – Kenneth A. Welch, 90, passed away February 5, 2019 at High Pointe Hospice in Haverhill with his loving family by his side.

Born in Marlborough, he was the son of the late Milfred H. and Emma (Rutkosky) Welch. Raised and educated in Haverhill, he was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1947. He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Kenneth was employed in retail advertising for the Haverhill Gazette and the Eagle Tribune. He loved spending time at the beach and his favorites were Old Orchard Beach and Ogunquit Beach. Known for his love of music, he played the organ in various bands. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family. Kenneth was a loving father, step father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Kenneth is survived by his children, Karin B. Merrill of Raymond, NH; Kenneth M. Welch and Melissa J. Stone of Exeter, NH; five grandchildren, Jason Merrill, Jessica Merrill, Kenneth D. Welch, Corey E. Welch, Aubrey-Jean Louise Welch; his great granddaughter Kiah Brun; his former wife Margaret (Casey) Williams; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Milfred and Ronald Welch.
