Haverhill – Mildred S. (Davis) Mackie, 83, wife of the late Harold M. Mackie, passed away October 14, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.Born in Newburyport, she was the daughter of the late Fred W. and Beatrice L. (Bragdon) Davis. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School. Mildred was employed as a cook at Oxford Manor in Haverhill for many years. She assisted with Bingo games at the Plains Bingo Hall where she made many friends. Mildred enjoyed crocheting, knitting and was an avid reader. A devoted wife, sister and aunt, she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.Mildred is survived by several nieces and nephews. Mildred was the last of 15 siblings who passed before her.Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are by the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
