Ruth (Dunklee) White, 86, born on January 12, 1940, in Newton, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026. She leaves behind a legacy of love and treasured memories.
Ruthie’s life journey took her from Waltham to Beverly, Massachusetts, where she met her beloved husband, Donald White. Surrounded by family and friends, they built a log cabin on their cherished property at 44 Doe Town Rd and made Ellsworth, New Hampshire their permanent home, creating a life rich in love and laughter within those log walls.
As a devoted mother to her only child, Pamela, Ruth happily embraced her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother with boundless warmth. She is survived by her daughter Pam and her husband Dave, her grandson Chris and his wife Sam, her granddaughter Katie and her husband Steve, and five cherished great-grandchildren: Kylie, Owen, Ryan, Vivenna, and Isla; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents, C. Paul and Minnie Dunklee, her brother Paul Dunklee, and her loving husband Donnie, Ruthie’s spirit and kindness, sprinkled with a little gossip, will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date, inviting all who knew Ruth to come together to honor her memory. Please visit www.comeaufuneral.com or Comeau Funeral Home on Facebook.
