Edward R. Noyes, Jr., 77, husband of Jane M. (Tilden) Noyes of Haverhill, passed away on February 17, 2026 at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington.
Edward was born in Haverhill on June 1, 1948; he was the son of Edward and Gertrude (Peters) Noyes and was a graduate of Haverhill Trade School. He studied later at Fitchburg State earning his teaching certificate, and worked for many years as a Plumber and an instructor of the trade. Edward traveled throughout the country and enjoyed fishing at Province Lake; he love cooking, playing card games, and especially liked decorating for Christmas. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Edward is survived by his wife Jane M. (Tilden) Noyes of Haverhill, his sons Ronald M. Noyes and his wife Michele of Haverhill, and Richard E. Noyes and his wife Brenda of Gainesville, FL. He also leaves behind his sisters Judith A. Noyes of Brentwood, NH, and Brenda L. Noyes of Haverhill; six grandchildren: Julie Naim, Catherine Edvalson, Michael Noyes, Christopher Noyes, Mikayla Noyes, and Dylan Noyes; and great grandchildren: Elias Naim, Madeline Edvalson, Alice Edvalson, Kye Noyes, Gwen Noyes, Bryson Noyes, and Serenity Noyes. He was predeceased by his brother Leon L. Noyes.
