Haverhill – Raymond F. Forrest, 64, passed away September 18, 2019 at Merrimack Valley Hospital in Haverhill after a fall.
Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Raymond Forrest and Helen F. (Murphy) Babin. Raised and educated in Everett, he was a graduate of Malden High School, Class of 1973. He attended Bunker Hill Community College in Boston in the Accounting Department. Raymond was a Certified Nursing Assistant who also worked in crisis intervention throughout the Merrimack Valley area. He was a big supporter of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and MSPCA at Nevin’s Farm in Methuen. Known for his love of animals, he was the family’s personal veterinarian, and had an especially fond love of horses. A quiet man who loved spending time with his family, he will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Raymond is survived by his siblings, John P. Babin of Haverhill; Robert Babin of Richmond, VA and Mary Vargas of SC; and several nieces and nephews.
