R. I. P My friend. My condolences to Carolyn and the family 🙏❤️
Joe was a great Alum of Northern Essex Community College. He was on the NECC Alumni Board for over 18 years; Was a Trustee of the college for 10 years and was very involved in all that NECC did. He also was a great friend of many of us here at NECC and we will truly miss him. Our condolences to the family.
Joe was the chairman of the Board of Trustees for Northern Essex when I was hired as the college’s president, He was always a tremendous supporter of NECC, our students, and the communities we serve. From time to time after his terms were up and he left the board, I would stop by his office to visit and catch up, and he would always begin by asking about the students. He knew the surest way to an even brighter future for Haverhill and the Merrimack Valley was preparing young people (and those who maybe aren’t so young) to be the leaders we need tomorrow. Thank you, Mr. Chairman, we will miss you…
