Michael E. Adams, 55, of Haverhill passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday March 18, 2026 at Parkland hospital in Derry, NH.
Michael was born in Lewiston, Maine on January 28th, 1971 to Eugene and Virginia (Merrill) Adams. He was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1989.
Michael worked in his Fathers machine shop, Deminie Machine for a number of years before going to school for Heating. After he obtained his oil burner license he worked for Cliff Peter’s Heating, Ronnie’s Oil and finally Broco Oil. He became very well respected in the heating industry, he was one of best and could fix just about any problem he encountered.
Michael loved music, he started playing drums in country bands as a young kid, traveling all over the place with his Mom to play at different venues. He later found his love for Metal and continued playing drums in a band with a few of his closest friends. He also loved to get together with his siblings to jam whenever they got the chance. He taught himself to play the guitar, bass and the piano.
He had an amazing ear for music!
Michael also loved to ride, it didn’t matter if it was 2 wheels on pavement, or 2 or 4 wheels in the dirt, as long as he was riding he was happy. He shared his love for riding with his daughters, spending time in the woods cutting new trails and ripping up the pit that was close to home.
If you knew Michael, you knew what a character he was. He was always building something, coming up with little inventions around the house. He had a great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh, he was always cracking jokes!
Michael was a devoted son, father, brother and friend. He is survived by his daughters Kayla Adams and Alyssa Adams, along with their Mom Kelly Greenwood all of Derry, NH. His brothers David Adams and his wife Diane of Haverhill, Dennis Dube and his wife Bernice of Waltham, Dale Adams and his wife Elsie Colon of Haverhill, his sister Darlene Golden of Hampstead, NH as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
