Haverhill – Kevin M. Braley, 59, passed away on April 7, 2026 at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA, from a very unexpected and sudden stroke.
Born in Haverhill, MA, he was the son of Linda M. (Bonenfant) Braley and the late Kevin J. Braley. He was raised in Haverhill, and attended Haverhill public schools. He was employed by J.P. Tanning Co., PDF Plastics and several lawn and yard services for many years.
Kevin loved to cook and share his dinners with family and friends. He was a very giving person who could not refuse to do a favor for his acquaintances/friends/family whenever asked to take care of something or drive somebody who needs a ride. Kevin loved the outdoors and the fun that came from different seasons such as fishing in summer, both ocean, deep sea, and ponds and lakes. He loved helping with his son’s football teams during the season; and camping at Salisbury Beach reservation with his family and friends. You could often find him sprucing up the lawn at his home and planting flowers in Spring. Kevin was famous for enjoying get togethers at home with friends for cookouts. He loved to dance and show off his “signature” moves, especially to his favorite Lynyrd Skynyrd song “Call Me the Breeze” from which he got his knick name “The Breeze”.
His passion lately was seeing his 3year old grandson Bennett and his 1 year old granddaughter Millie thrive and grow, building blocks, playing ball and overall just being with them.
Kevin was known for his rebellious spirit, but those closest to him knew his softer side. He loved being outdoors sitting by a warm fire, and listening to rock and roll music.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Linda Braley of Merrimac, MA and Bill Drapeau; daughter Tiesha Prins and husband Jonathan, 2 grandchildren, Bennett and Millie all of Raymond, NH; and his son Devon J.M. Braley and Devon’s Mom Katrina Thorne of Florida. He leaves a sister Lisa M. Alder and Brian, as well as nieces Kimberly Londono and Carlos, Manchester, NH; and Katelyn Alder of Haverhill, MA; and 2 great -nephews and a niece, Jackson and Hunter Londono and Sienna Leach.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Sunday from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home 486 Main St. Haverhill. Funeral services will be held on Monday morning at 11:00 AM in the Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at the Elmwood Columbarium Salem St. Bradford.
