Patricia M. (Smith) Royea, 93, of Haverhill passed away on April 17, 2026 at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.
Patricia was born on October 26, 1932 in Haverhill to Earl L. and Rose A. (Carrier) Smith. She was a graduate of St. James High School and was employed for many years locally at Tek Coating. Patricia enjoyed bus trips to Atlantic City, going to local beaches, gardening and family gatherings. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Patricia is survived by her daughters Linda M. Wheeler of Haverhill, and Judith A. Royea of Haverhill, and her son Michael F. Royea and his wife Cindy of Belmont, NH. She also leaves behind grandchildren Jennifer Drelick and her husband Philip, Charles Wheeler, Mark Royea and his wife Brittney, Andrew Royea and his wife Krista, Stephanie Whitaker and her husband Chris, and Jackie Griffin; as well as 7 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and her friend and neighbor Dot Sulesky. She was predeceased by her husband Francis B. Royea, her son David P. Royea, and her brother Francis Smith.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a calling hours on Sunday, April 26th from 11AM until 12:30PM, followed by a funeral home chapel service at 12:30PM, at the Kevin B.
