John R. West, II, 62, passed away on May 3, 2026 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.
John was born in Beverly, MA on June 4, 1963 to John and Loretta (Smith) West and was an attendee of Haverhill High School. John studied Culinary Arts in school and most recently worked as a home inspector for a local mortgage company. He was a member of the Sons of AMVETS Post 147 in Haverhill and enjoyed cooking and working there at the bar. He also loved spending time with his family, especially fishing with his kids and going to the mountains in New Hampshire.
John is survived by his loving partner of 15 years Jennifer Markey of Hudson, NH; his sons John R. West, II, Chole West, and Dillan West all of Hudson, NH, Devon, Pedro and Jarred Acevedo of Ma, and Steven and Joseph Warren of NY; his daughters Heather Perkins and her husband Mike of Seabrook, Katie Arsenault of Seabrook, Brianna West of Salisbury, Elizabeth West of Fl, Sharetta West of Ohio, Jennifer West of New York, and Natasha West of Hudson, NH. He also leaves behind his brother Ed Sweeney of NH and his sister Theresa Vinson of West Virginia. He also leaves behind grandchildren: John IV, Amara, Kayleigh, Hunter, Christopher, Matthew, Joseph, Julian, William, Arya, Kasandra, Nicholas, Dean, Isabella, Juelz, and Rocco.
He was predeceased by his daughter Stacey Lynn West, brother Kevin West and his wife Kelly, his sister Tammy West, and his brothers William Sweeney, Daniel Sweeney and his beloved grand dog Bella.
