William J. Cook, 81

William J. Cook, 81, of Barrington, NH passed away peacefully at his home on May 10, 2026.

William was born in Haverhill, he was the son of William L. and Pauline (Marquis) Cook and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1964; after which he served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam. He worked locally as a contractor, carpet installer for many years.

William enjoyed spontaneous road trips, Sci-Fi stories, a good lobster bake, and spending time at the family camp in Maine. He had a deep love for children, and watching his family grow throughout the years brought him immense pride and joy.”He was a devoted son, husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed by all knew him.

William is survived by his daughters Tracey Berry of Lawrence, Melissa and Robin Lebel of Haverhill, and Amy and Eric Maynard of Exeter, NH. He also leaves behind his sisters Suzanne and David Beier of Northport, FL and Elzina Cook Morse of Lyman, ME; as well as 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Sherrie Cook.
