Wesley A. Tugman, 63

Wesley A. Tugman, 63, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026, at Lakeview House Rest Home in Haverhill, Massachusetts.

Wesley was born in Manassas, Virginia, on March 13, 1963, to Edward Tugman and Margaret Rogers. He was raised in Manassas Park, Virginia, where he attended Manassas Park High School. As a young man, Wesley was a standout varsity football player, earning recognition as an all star athlete and becoming one of the youngest players on the team. Those who knew him saw a bright future ahead of him and admired his athletic ability and determination. Later in life Wesley moved to Massachusetts, where he worked for more than a decade at Tewksbury State Hospital. During that time, he met Heidi Morton, and together they welcomed three children: Wesley Tugman Jr., Amanda Tugman, and Holly Tugman. Although their relationship eventually ended, Wesley remained a loving father. He later met Jennifer Jones, and together they welcomed his youngest daughter, Hannah Tugman.  Wesley enjoyed spending his free time fishing, taking walks, watching sports, eating food – especially Chinese food, and cheering on his favorite team, Washington Redskins. He appreciated life’s simple pleasures and enjoyed listening to country music and playing his guitar, and loved his time spent outdoors.

Wesley faced many challenges throughout his life and endured hardships that were not always easy to overcome. Yet through it all the kindness in his heart and the love he had for his children remained strong. Those who knew him best will remember his gentle heart, his caring nature, and the deep love he carried for his family. Wesley is survived by his son, Wesley A. Tugman Jr.; his daughters, Amanda Tugman, Holly Tugman, and Hannah Tugman; his siblings, Ernie Tugman, Ruthie Coyle, Julie Hallowell, and Evelyn Geris Tugman; and his three grandchildren: Noah Brown, Ivy Henriquez, and Ayla Henriquez; and many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory. Wesley was predeceased by his parents, Edward Tugman and Margaret Rogers, and his sister, Brenda.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, August 15th, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
