Charles L. LeGasse, 74

HAVERHILL – Charles L. LeGasse, 74, husband of Elizabeth M. (Sessa) LeGasse of Haverhill, passed away on July 5, 2026 at the High Pointe Hospice House.

Charles was born in Amesbury on February 14, 2026. He was the son of Robert E. and Corinne E. (Hopkinson) LeGasse and was a graduate of Newburyport High School, Class of 1970; after which he served during Vietnam in the United States Navy. Charles went on to have a dedicated career as a crane operator with the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. He also enjoyed spending time duck hunting in marshes and fishing. He lived a life full of passion, a defining trait being his kindness and love for adventure. He will be remembered for a great sense of humor, his willingness to help anyone in need, and his deep love for his family. Charles is survived by his wife Elizabeth M. (Sessa) LeGasse of Haverhill with whom he shared a marriage of 47 beautiful years together. He also leaves behind his sister in law Anna Marie Demers and her husband Wayne, brother in law Daniel J. Sessa and his wife Cheryl Ann, and brother in law David J. Sessa; as well as several nieces and nephews, one great niece, five great nephews, and many cousins.
