Louise E. Riviezzo, a loving mother whose wit, warmth, and humor brightened every room she entered, passed away peacefully on July 18th at the age of 94. Born on August 16, 1931, in Haverhill, Massachusetts, Louise grew into a woman known for her quick mind, generous spirit, and steadfast devotion to those she loved.
Louise’s unwavering love for her daughters and extended family was the constant thread that shaped her life. She lived with determination and strength, offering a model of resilience and love that her family will carry with them always. Her home was a place of laughter, understanding, and unconditional love—a place where everyone felt welcome, valued, and deeply cared for.
She was employed by Raytheon Corp. in Andover, where she made many lifelong friends. After retirement, she enjoyed many trips to the casino with her daughter Mary and decorating and cooking with her daughter Regina, sharing laughter, stories, and cherished time together. For 28 years, Louise made her home at Buttonwoods Apartments in Haverhill—the very neighborhood where she was born. There, she formed many meaningful friendships and remained closely connected to the community that had been part of her life since the beginning.
Her clever wit was one of her greatest gifts. Louise had a way of delivering just the right remark at just the right moment, leaving her family smiling long after. Her humor, paired with her kindness, made her presence a joy and a source of light throughout her long life.
Louise was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Eva and Marco Camuso, and by her beloved daughter, Charlene Kamitian. She leaves behind her loving daughters, Mary Kamitian and her wife, Robyn, and Regina Riviezzo and her wife, Roberta. She is also survived by her cherished grandsons, Joseph Adelman and his wife Sara, Jared Adelman, Samuel Gauthier, and Jacob Kemblowski; her brother, Frank Salafia, and the memory of his late wife, Dianne; her dear friends, Liz and Diane Kemblowski; and many nieces, nephews, beloved cousins, and friends whose lives were enriched by her love and friendship.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

I am so sorry for the loss of beautiful Louise. I enjoyed visiting with her at Haverhill Rehab during my aunt’s stay there. We connected shortly after she arrived there and reminisced about our Italian roots. She and aunty both worked at Raytheon as well. They made friends quickly, and we are saddened to hear the news.
