Donald Lanza, 69

HAMPSTEAD, NH – Donald Lanza, 69, passed away on October 3, 2026 peacefully surrounded by family at his home in Hampstead, NH.

Don was born in Haverhill to Delfo and Ann (Moriarty) Lanza and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1975, Franklin Institute, and Northern Essex. He worked for many years as an electrician and manager for the Greater Lawrence Sanitary District.

Don was a dedicated family man known for his sharp wit and his ability to fix almost anything. He loved motorcycles, classic country music, and spending time outdoors fishing and boating. Among his favorite traditions were annual camping trips to Moosehead Lake with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Susan M. (Duggan) Lanza of Hampstead, NH, his son Steven Lanza of W. Hartford, CT, and his daughter Rachel Lanza of Philadelphia, PA. He also leaves behind his brothers James Lanza and his wife Debra of Danville, NH, and Michael Lanza and his wife Kammy of Haverhill. Donald was predeceased by his sister Donna Lanza.
