Haverhill – Nancy J. (Mascaro) Guckert, wife of the late Robert J. Guckert, passed away November 26, 2019 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Boston with her loving family by her side.
Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Thomas C. and Elmay V. (Dwinnells) Mascaro. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she attended Haverhill High School. Nancy was employed as a retail clerk at TJMax for many years. She loved her trips to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun and was able to see the new Boston Encore Casino. Nancy was a giving, selfless woman who was a devoted mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Nancy is survived by her children, Nancy J. Brown and her husband George H. of Haverhill; Debra A. Barry and John J. of Philadelphia, PA; James C. Guckert and Donna Fiander of South Boston; her siblings, Thomas Mascara of MA; Margaret “Peggy” Roberts and her husband Joseph of Haverhill; Angel Whittier and her husband Raymond of Haverhill; four cherished grandchildren, Chrissy Barry, Thomas Barry, Joseph Samoisette, Lisa Samoisette; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by her sons, Thomas Guckert and Robert Guckert, her brother Carl Mascaro and sister Donna Blanchard.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Monday, December 2 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
