Haverhill – Norma J. (Blatchford) Maffeo, 78, wife of Robert D. Maffeo, passed away December 19, 2019 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen with her loving family by her side.
Born in Newburyport, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Thelma (Gavin) Blatchford. She was raised and educated in the Hampstead, NH school system and graduated from Haverhill High School. Norma was a special needs bus driver and worked in hospitality. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her loving husband Robert, she is survived by her children, Dianne and Peter Aziz of Merrimac; Christine and Al Goldstein of Atkinson, NH; Roger and Debra Maffeo of Haverhill; Robin Gulubicki of Atkinson, NH; Andrea Maffeo of CA; her grandchildren, Eric and Nicole Goldstein, Matthew and Emily Goldstein, Alicia Taylor, Shane Maffeo, Sarah Goldstein, Brianna and Ashley Twomey, Abigail Gulubicki; her great grandchildren, Evelyn and Drew, Ayden, Rylee and Luke; her siblings, Richard Baltchford and his wife Marsha; Robert Brown; Thelma Taylor and Sandra Dillman; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by Angelo Maffeo, Phillip Brown, John Brown, Elizabeth Banks and Rendall Taylor.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, December 26 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
