Haverhill – John A. Rowell, 51, husband of Shannon M. (Warren) Rowell, passed away February 21, 2020 at Holy Family Hospital in Haverhill with his loving family by his side.
Born in Salem, MA, he was the son of Arthur and Jean (Emerson) Rowell. Raised in Newburyport, he attended Newburyport schools. He moved to Haverhill with his family at the age of 16. John was employed in maintenance and was a property manager for Samia Companies. John loved the beach and deep sea fishing. He enjoyed watching movies, playing at the arcades and cooking. John was a devoted husband and father and loved spending time with his family. Known for his dry sense of humor and wit, he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his loving wife Shannon, he is survived by his son, Christopher J. Rowell of Bradford; his stepdaughter, Nicole L. Mackey of Bradford; and his sister, Deborah Martin and her husband Matthew of Virginia.
