Edward H. Pearson

Haverhill – Edward H. Pearson, 69 husband of the late Marilee (Joudrey) Pearson, passed away April 21, 2020 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Boston.

Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Donald F. and Elsie Goldsmith O’Keefe Pearson. Raised and educated in Haverhill, he was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1968. After graduation, he entered the United States Navy and served during the Vietnam War from 1968 until 1972, honorably discharged. A machine operator by trade, he was employed at Style Tech and Malden Mills, retiring in 2017. An avid music aficionado, he was a collector of vintage and rare vinyl LP’s. Ed was also a gardener and loved planting and tending to his garden. With his late wife, he frequented the casinos, Atlantic City, Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods. He found pleasure in going to the beach and spending time relaxing there. Ed will be missed by his many friends and family.

Ed is survived by his brothers, Richard A. Pearson and his wife Pamela (Peters) of Haverhill; Robert L. of Haverhill; Donald L. and his wife Kathy (Dolan) of Danville, NH; sister in law, Glenda Pearson of Haverhill; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife Marilee, he was predeceased by his brother William Pearson and sister, Linda Alartosky.

    So sorry to hear of Eddie’s passing. Brings back a lot of memories of fun times, card nights and get togethers. He was a great guy and I’m sure he will be sadly missed. Bonnie D.

    So sorry to hear of Eddie’s passing. I have such fond memories of times spent in the Pearson/Alartosky household. Card nights and gatherings. I’m sure he will be missed dearly.
