Richard A. Pearson

Haverhill – Richard A. Pearson, 66, husband of Pamela J. (Peters) Pearson, passed away May 11, 2020 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen just 20 days after his brother Edward Pearson.

Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Donald F. and Elsie Goldsmith O’Keefe Pearson. He was raised and educated in Haverhill and attended Haverhill Public Schools. Richard was a jack of all trades and worked in many industries throughout the Merrimack Valley area. He was employed at Kinston Steel Drum, All In Insulation, GI Plastic, Dunkin Donuts, MVRTA Transportation and after his retirement he also worked as a crossing guard and landscaping for his elderly neighbors. He loved motorcycle riding, fishing and hunting. Richard had a big heart, always ready to help anyone in need. He will be missed by all his friends and family.

In addition to his loving wife Pamela of over 43 years, he leaves his sons, David R. Pearson and Joseph D. Pearson, both of Haverhill; his brothers, Robert L. Pearson of Haverhill; Donald L. Pearson and his wife Katherine of Danville, NH; sister in law Glenda Pearson of Haverhill; brother in laws, James Peters and his wife Louise of Plaistow, NH; Robert Peters of Merrimac; Clifford Peters and his wife Nancy of Haverhill; sister in laws Linda Monroe and her husband Robert of Dover, NH; Sheila Belmer of Haverhill; Cynthia Beaudion of Haverhill; his grandchildren, Anthony D. Pearson and Nicholas R. Pearson; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers; Edward H. Pearson and William F. Pearson and a sister; Linda J. Alartosky.
