Manchester, NH – Miriam E. (Ruiz) Polanco, 39, passed away July 4, 2020 at Elliot Hospital in Manchester.
Born in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of the late Jesus Ruiz and Miriam E. Figueroa. Raised and educated in Lowell, she attended Lowell High School. Miriam was a home maker and devoted her life to raising her children. She loved to cook, enjoyed music and loved to dance the Bachata. Miriam will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Miriam is survived by her children, Melvin Duran, Joshua Martes, Brittany Carrion, Christopher Ruiz and Edward Polanco, all of Manchester, NH; eight grandchildren; sisters, Sonia Figueroa of NJ; Lucy Figueroa of Bridgeport, CT; Rosa Nunez of Hudson, NH; brothers, Jesus Ruiz and his wife Wanda of Haverhill; Juan Nunez of Lowell; Abraham Figueroa of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Monday, July 13 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. A Graveside Service will be on Wednesday, July 15 in West Lawn Cemetery, Boston Road, Lowell at 10:00AM.
