Bradford – Louise A. (Fowler) Kirkley 76, wife of the late Joseph Lee Kirkley passed away January 9, 2021 at her home in Bradford surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Newburyport, she was the daughter of the late Owen P. and Frances H. (Eaton) Sargent. Raised and educated in Newburyport, she attended Newburyport public schools. In her younger years Louise worked in the local shoe industry and as a Certified Nursing Assistant at local nursing homes. She loved to play Pokeno, BINGO, and doing puzzles. Louise enjoyed trips to Foxwoods and loved being with her family. She could be found at the Senior Citizen’s Center and loved her South Webster Street community. A lover of cats and sunflowers, Louise will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Louise is survived by her children, Lee Kirkley of Tuscaloosa, AL; Cindy Walker of Hardin, TN; Mark Kirkley of Tuscaloosa, AL; Jeff Kirkley of Tuscaloosa, AL; her niece and caregiver; Diane Fitzgerald and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews and close family / friend, Gail Julian. She was predeceased by her son Richard Kirkley, siblings, Richard Eaton, Gordon Fowler, Sr, Leroy Fowler, Sr., Owen Sargent, Jr. Nellie Horr and Frances A. Fitzgerald.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Wildwood Cemetery, South Main St. Seabrook, NH. Arrangements are by the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. For condolences please visit Comeau Funeral Home on Facebook or www.comeaufuneral.com
