Haverhill – Margaret V. “Peg” (Roberts) Eason, 93, wife of the late Albert W. Eason with whom she shared 56 years of marriage, passed away peacefully at home on February 12, 2021 . She was so thankful for all the acts of kindness, meals, visits, love and support shown to her.
Born and raised in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1945. She was employed at the former New England Telephone Company and retired from the City of Haverhill School Department where she worked as a secretary. With her husband Albert, she traveled to Florida, Las Vegas, Canada and all over New England. Peg enjoyed vegetable gardening, cooking for her family and was an avid reader. Family was everything to her and her home was the center of the family. Peg will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
Peg is survived by her daughters, Pamela Hansen of Newton, NH and Laurie Peterson and her husband Shaun of Haverhill; grandchildren Joshua Hansen of Newton, NH; Kevin Hansen and his wife Shauna of Haverhill; Devan Peterson of Haverhill and Connor Peterson of Medford; her brother John C. Roberts and his wife Arline of Haverhill, and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, February 17 at 11:30AM at the St. John the Baptist Church, 110 Lincoln Avenue, Haverhill. Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery, John Ward Avenue, Haverhill. Arrangements are by the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
