John S. Wydola, 57

Haverhill – John Stephen Wydola, 57, passed away June 22, 2021 unexpectedly at his residence.

Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late, Rudolph J. “Rudy” and Helen M. (McKenna) Wydola. Raised in the Riverside section of Haverhill he attended Nettle grammar school and was a Graduate of Whittier tech, Class of 1981 where he studied the Auto repair Trade.

John was a well- known local businessman, he owned and operated Wydola Motors towing and auto repair for many years. He had love for fast cars and building them. He was a fan of NASCAR racing and enjoyed going to the NHRA Drags at New England Dragway.  He also was an avid fisherman, landing many tuna and would fish any waters in the area.

A loving father, brother, uncle, and grandfather, he leaves a son; Jonathan Wydola, of Ashland, NH, a daughter; Julianne Wydola, of Haverhill, two brothers, David and his wife Carol, of Danville, NH, and Mark Wydola, of Atkinson, NH, a sister; Karen Wydola of Methuen. A cherished grandson; Parker and several nieces, nephews and cousins and many loving friends and extended family members all of whom will miss him dearly.
