I’ve just learned of Murry’s passing, and want to express my deep regrets. As an AYC member I always admired Murryi’s skill with his cherished Kabota, and this determination to work with club members late into life. I’m sure you will smile as you recall your years together, as will everyone who knew him.

Murry was a Treasure! We are so fortunate that we got to know him, and we will miss him dearly. We deeply appreciate all the beautiful work he did restoring the historic East Parish Meeting House with his carpentry talents. He was amazingly active for his age. Our deepest condolences to you all. Love, the Roffo’s

I want to express my deep regrets. As an AYC member, I always watched Murryi’s skill in the yard with the tractor and how he never stopped helping. A true blessing to have such a member and a demonstration on how to continue leading and helping in the journey of life. The family should be so proud of his leadership and strength and always keep the memories alive going forward.

    Dear Family:
Having learned just a while ago of Murry’s passing, memories of past relationships flooded our
minds. It was Murry who designed the addition to our home for my mother to come live with us
in 1980 after my Dad passed – and it was David who did much of the work as well as the finish carpentry. We still live here but now are on the first floor with some adaptations in the apartment
my Mother had some forty years ago. Our warm-hearted sympathy to you all.

So saddened to read of Murry’s passing.- just read the email now too late for us to make it to visiting hours or we would have been there but we are remembering him now at home with gratitude, humor and affection. He will TRULY be missed. He has been part of the fabric of the AYC as long as both of us can remember and his presence will remain in all the parts of the club that benefitted from his efforts as well as in the warm memories of all who will remember him. Our heartfelt sympathy to the family.

My husband and I knew Murray for a long time. The last time I saw him, was at the Bretton Woods Hotel on one of Dale and Marcia Roger’s great weekends there! His granddaughter was singing “Tomorrow, Tomorrow from Little Orphan Annie, and she was good!! I think that she had performed at the North Shore Music Theater. I was interested in his obituary that described his love of sailing. My husband was a lifelong sailor. He passed away a couple of years ago, and perhaps they have met on the “high seas”.
My sincerest sympathy to you all.
