Bradford – Richard A. McCullock 82, husband of Carol Ann (Sacco) McCullock, passed away September 20, 2021 at Melrose Wakefield Hospital with his loving family by his side.
Born in Charlestown, he was the son of the late Hugh and Veronica (Siegel) McCullock. Raised in Chelsea, he attended Chelsea schools and was a graduate of Chelsea High School, Class of 1947. He was a machinist for 45 years at Fairview Machine Shop. Richard was a workaholic, a “Jack of all trades”, a skilled machinist, mechanic and was a master of all he did. His second family was the Moulton family and co-workers at the Fairview Machine shop. Known for his great sense of humor, he loved Motown music, especially Marvin Gaye. Richard was an avid football fan and enjoyed watching the New England Patriots. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, he will leave his legacy of hard work to his family and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his loving wife Carol, he is survived by his children, Robert McCullock and his wife Jayne of Warren, NH; John Fasciano of Bradford; Lisa Ryan and her husband Daniel of Bradford; his four grandchildren, Brian McCullock, Felicia Holland, Richard Holland and Andrea; his brother, Robert Wisocky of Salisbury; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers George and Hugh McCullock.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, September 26 from 2:00PM until 5:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. A funeral service will be on Monday morning at 10:00AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 90 River Road, Tewksbury.
