Jeanne M. (Maurier) O’Neil March 26, 1947 - November 4, 2021

Haverhill – Jeanne M. (Maurier) O’Neil, 74, wife of the late Curtis R. Young & William J. O’Neil, passed away at home November 4, 2021.

Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Steven and Lillian (Carrier) Maurier. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she lived there her whole life. She attended St. James Grammar School and St. James High School. Jeanne was a Unit Clerk at the former Hale Hospital from 1985 until 1995 and worked at Salisbury Beach for several years. She loved to knit and was known for her great cooking. Jeanne enjoyed having coffee and visiting with her friends. She loved her cats, spending time at the water and watching her favorite television shows. A devoted friend and mother, Jeanne will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jeanne is survived by her children, Tracy A. Young of Epping, NH; Gina M. Young of West Townsend, MA; Randall J. Young and his partner Pamela Griffin of Londonderry, NH; brother, Paul E. Maurier and his wife Susan of Amesbury; grandchildren, Ryan and Andrew Young, Tyler and Luke Marchisio, Madeline and Ethan Boulter and Zachary DeVincentis; great grandchildren, Ella Marchisio and Georgiana Boulter.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a calling hour on Friday, November 12 from 12:00 Noon until 1:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau, 486 Main St., Haverhill. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 1:00PM. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Hilldale Ave., Haverhill.
