Addie L. (Guillory) Maiben

Lawrence – Addie (Guillory) Maiben, 62, wife of Emmit Maiben, passed away after a long illness surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Beaumont, TX, raised by her loving grandparents Evelyn and Leicester Guillory alongside her uncle Curtis R. Guillory. She was the daughter of Roy Matthews and Bobbi Jean Guillory. Raised in Cina, TX, she attended Hardin Jefferson High School in Sour Lake, TX.. Addie was a stay at home mom who was devoted to her family. She took great pride in keeping her home beautiful and cooking for family and friends. Shopping and reading were favorite pastime. Known for her spunky and great sense of humor, she was a strong minded woman who wasn’t afraid to speak her mind. A woman of strong faith, she was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Methuen. Addie will be missed by all her family and friends.

Addie is survived by her husband Emmit of Lawrence; her daughters, Evelyn Richard of No. Andover and Eletha Maiben of Haverhill; son, Emmit Maiben III of Lowell; her beloved grandchildren, Makayla Richard, Maya Richard, Hailey Zabala, Julianna Lucchesi, Haiden Zabala, Emmit Maiben IV and Scarlett Sperring; one great grandchild, Addison Chisnall; several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son in law Christopher Richard and aunt Virgie Lee Guillory Slaughter.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, November 30 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill.
