Haverhill – Jeffrey S. Ventura, 61, passed away January 6, 2022 suddenly at his home.

Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Shaney D. and Loretta F. (Hopkinson) Ventura. Raised in Haverhill, he was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1978. Jeffrey was employed as a truck driver in the local area and as a machinist. He was an avid sports fan and loved the New England Patriots. He enjoyed going to the beach, listening to Rock and Roll music and watching crime shows, especially Unsolved Mysteries. He loved riding his motorcycle and rode as often as he could. He loved to talk to people and made friends wherever he went. Jeffrey’s family was everything to him and he loved them dearly. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jeffrey is survived by his children, Callie A. Ventura and her partner Kevin Michaud of Haverhill; Cotey J. Ventura and his partner Allison Sargent; grandchildren, Jacob Brown and Kasey Michaud; sister Penny P. Sargent and her husband David of Tamworth, NH; brother John Ventura; nieces and nephews, Clifton Sargent, Nina Sargent,  Johanna Gagalis and Jeremy Gagalis; and other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother John Gagalis.
