Jody A. Richardson, (Ferguson), 58, of Merrimac, died Monday, October 10, 2022 at Ann Jacques Hospital in Newburyport.
Jody was born in Haverhill on October 25, 1963 and was the daughter of the late John J. and Marilyn (Decoteau) Ferguson.
Jody was the wife of the late Michael J. Richardson Sr. She was the sister of John Joseph Ferguson Jr., and his wife Lynn of Lowell, Erin (Ferguson) Connors and her husband Thomas of Amesbury, Tracy (Ferguson) Corvi and her husband Francesco of Newburyport; grandmother of Michael Richardson III., and Arianna Richardson; and nieces and nephews John, Mark and Michaela Corvi , Kendall and Thomas Connors, and Jessica and Haley Ferguson. She was predeceased in death by her son Michael Richardson Jr. and his late wife Courtney Richardson.
Jody was born and raised in Haverhill and was a graduate of Whittier Vocational Tech, Class of 1981 and later graduated from North Shore Community College. She enjoyed knitting, music, gardening, the beach, and camping. She loved animals, especially cats and frequently rescued animals. Her favorite holiday was Halloween.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, October 18, from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will be celebrated in the funeral home on Wednesday, October 19, at 11:00AM. Interment, City Central Cemetery, 331 Hilldale Ave. Haverhill.
