Haverhill – James C. Mood, Jr. 76, husband of Susan E. (LeBlanc) Mood, passed away December 8, 2022 at High Pointe Hospice in Haverhill with his loving family by his side.
Born in Beverly, he was the son of the late James C. Mood Sr. and Marguerite E. (Flynn) Mood. Raised and educated in the Beverly school system, he was a graduate of Beverly High School, Class of 1965. In 1966 he joined the United States Navy and served his country with honor during the Vietnam War. In 1972 he married the love of his life, Susan after meeting at the former Jordan Marsh in Peabody. In 1974 they moved to Georgetown where he raised his family. James was an Electronics Technician with MACOM Inc. for many years. He enjoyed traveling, Bermuda, Ireland and Key West Florida. James also enjoyed the architectural designs of Frank Lloyd Wright visiting the Zimmerman House in Manchester, NH. He also traveled to “Falling Water” a unique house built over a waterfall in Pennsylvania that was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. He was a big Elvis Presley fan and loved all his music. James was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his loving wife Susan, he is survived by his son, James E. Mood and his wife Melissa of Mansfield; grandchildren Madeleine Mood and William Mood. He was predeceased by his sister Karen E. Mood and brother Kevin G. Mood.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial service for James on December 14 at 11:00 AM at St. James Episcopal Church, 119 Washington St., Groveland. Burial is private.
