HAVERHILL – Raymond E. Dumont, 74, passed away on Thursday, July 13 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.
Raymond was born in Lowell on February 5, 1949 to Joseph E. and Florence (Ouellette) Dumont. He was raised and educated in Lowell schools, graduating from Lowell High School, Class of 1967. He worked for many years a baker at Prices Bakery in Lowell and also the Head Baker at Market Basket for 20 plus years. Ray enjoyed spending time with family. He loved big Holiday dinners with family and loved taking cruises and traveling to see his son in Texas. But most of all he loved talking sports of any kind. Ray could charm anyone with his big Brown Eyes and contagious laugh.
Raymond is survived by his wife Judy Ann (Glidden) Dumont, Haverhill, son Raymond, and his wife Norma Dumont, Grand Prairie, TX, and daughters Shelly Kim and husband Touch Kim, Melissa and husband David Medina, Yonkers, NY, and Theresa Dumont, Haverhill. He also leaves behind his sister Rita Bowen, Lowell, niece Christine Pascall and her husband Sean and great niece Ava, Nashua; grandchildren Jonathan Brown, Gabby Brown, Zachary Dumont and Allison Dumont; and great-grandchildren Margo May and Mia Marie Dumont. Raymond was predeceased by his brother Robert Dumont.
