HAVERHILL – Sally A. Salvador, 82, passed away on Wednesday, September 13 at Hannah Duston Healthcare Center in Haverhill.
Sally was born in Haverhill on November 2, 1940 to John and Mary (Fortin) Mooradian. She was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1959. Sally worked for many years as the assistant manager, seamstress, bookkeeper and sales clerk at Ben Cortell’s Army Navy Store in Haverhill. Sally was a loving, caring mother, selfless, and a loyal friend. She was a Hockey mom who never missed a game, had an open door policy and loved her kids’ friends. Sally was a fantastic cook and an adventurous soul, enjoying zip lining, air ballooning and traveling extensively to Georgia, Texas, even Europe and the Mediterranean along with her ex-husband when he was in the service. Sally will be remembered dearly as a devoted mom, grandmom, and great grandmom.
Sally is survived by her sons David L. Salvador, of Plaistow, NH, and Michael S. Salvador, of Haverhill, and her daughter Mary E. Faxon and her husband Paul, of Conway, NH, brother Paul A. Mooradian and his wife Carol, of Florida, She also leaves behind her grandchildren Joel Faxon and his wife Samantha, of South Carolina, Nicholas Faxon and his wife Jenn, of Bradford, and Courtney and her husband Scott Holt, of Haverhill, Zachary Salvador, of Plaistow, and Kyle Salvador, of Plaistow; and great grandchildren Sophie, Piper, Kennedy and Olivia.
Sally is predeceased by her brothers Gary J. Mooradian, of Raymond, NH and George Mooradian, of Haverhill.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday September 19 from 10AM until 11AM, followed by a funeral home chapel service at 11AM at the Kevin B. September 17, 2023 at 2:04 pmI was so sorry to hear about dear Sally’s passing. I was one of Sally’s church friends at Trinity Episcopal Church. She was a wonderful person and I had many great times with her and she will be missed by me and all the ladies in St. Margaret’s Guild.
My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this difficult time.

September 17, 2023 at 9:44 pmI met Sally when we were 11 years old and we had an instant connection. She remained a true and loving friend until the end. Sally had a lot of struggles throughout her life but I never remember her complaining. We have a circle of friends, some gone now, but our bond can never be broken. Love you always , Sally!
