Haverhill – Steven P. Bobola, 71 of Haverhill passed away peacefully with his family by his side on November 24, 2023 at the High Pointe Hospice House after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Lowell, he was the son of the late, John J. Sr. and Oma Mae (Helms) Bobola. Raised and educated in Lowell he was a Graduate of Lowell High School Class of 1970. He was employed as a roofing contractor for Bobola Contracting of Exeter, NH for several years and also worked as a cook at the Bobola Family Restaurant in Dracut.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and visiting relatives in Ohio and North Carolina and trips to Foxwoods.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother, he is survived by his wife of twelve years, Cheryl A. (Chapman) Bobola of Haverhill, daughter, Melissa Bobola and step daughter, Amanda Berube, both of Haverhill a stepson Joseph Dube of Aiken, SC, siblings; Nancy Bobola of Tyngsboro, Jeannie and her husband, Joey Scott, of Pelham, NH, Andy Bobola and his wife, Deborah, of Shallotte, NC, Robert Bobola and his wife Maryann, of Exeter, NH, Richard Bobola and his wife Joanne, of Derry, NH, Timothy Bobola and his wife Lisa, of Newton, NH, Thomas Bobola and his wife Marylou of Methuen, Peter Bobola and his wife, Dianne, of Derry, NH, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Stephanie H. Bobola, siblings, John J. Bobola Jr, Joanne Basnett, Jack Bobola, Frankie Bobola, and Victoria Bobola.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to calling hours on Monday, November 27, from 4 PM until 6 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home 486 Main St. Haverhill.
