HAVERHILL, MA – John J. Bilodeau, loving husband of Lisa M. (Haney) Bilodeau, of Haverhill passed away on Saturday, September 14 in Nashua, NH.

Born in Lowell, on January 14, 1975 he was the son of Norman and Maureen (Taylor) Bilodeau. John was a graduate of Dracut High School, Class of 1993, where he was known for being an outstanding high school football player. He holds the record for the most touchdowns in school history. He was an avid fan of all Boston sports teams and attended several Super bowls and Patriots Games. John enjoyed playing cards and Fortnite. He also liked taking road trips and cruises. He coached Haverhill co-ed softball and will be remembered for his competitive spirit – you loved him on your team, but not so much on your opponent’s team – he was a much respected competitor. John loved spending time with family and took in several foster children. He was a generous soul with a big heart and would give you the shirt off his back.

John will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, son, brother and uncle. He is survived by his wife Lisa M. (Haney) Bilodeau, son John Michael Bilodeau, Jr. of Haverhill, and daughters Morgan Bilodeau of Dracut and Leighton Bilodeau of Haverhill. He also leaves behind his father Norman Bilodeau and wife Amanda of Dracut, his mother Maureen Bilodeau of Dracut, and his mother in law Patricia Haney of Haverhill; as well as brother Michael Bilodeau and his wife Shelly of Dracut, and brother in law Kent B. Haney Jr. and his wife Jessica of Nashua, NH; foster kids Nate, Jeremy and Anthony, and nieces and nephews Ramses, Jiji (Yianis), Jaden, Leigha, Kent III, Liam, Stacy, Nicole, and Baby Gigi (Yianalise).
