Michael was our long-term music sub when I was in middle school. He had us analyze the lyrics to Anne Murray’s “You Needed Me.” THAT is teaching music! At the end of class, he would let anyone who played the piano play for the class. I lost my audience within seconds. But other teachers never let us do that! It was a fun class and I will never forget it. Amy and family, I am so sorry. You are all in my prayers.
