HAVERHILL – Paul Mahoney, 61, loving husband of Louise (Langlois) Mahoney of Haverhill, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at the Boston Medical Center.
Paul was born in Lowell on June 30, 1964; he was the son of Richard P. and Janice (Pape) Mahoney and was a graduate of Greater Lowell Vocational High School. He worked for wholesale distributer Albert Notini and Sons for 35 years, and also for Core-Mark as a Merchandiser. Paul enjoyed camping, taking trips to Mohegan Sun, playing corn hole, golfing, and darts. He loved listening to all genres of music but his favorite was country, loved cooking and sweets – especially whoopee pies – and had a great sense of humor. Paul was a devoted father and husband who will be dearly missed by those he has left behind.
Paul is survived by his wife Louise (Langlois) Mahoney, and his son Richard Mahoney, both of Haverhill. He is also survived by his brothers Patrick Mahoney and his wife Martha of Lowell, and Timothy Mahoney of Lowell; and his sisters Laura Cocoran of Lowell and Jen Brum and her husband Joe of Merrimack, NH. He was predeceased by his parents Richard P. and Janice (Pape) Mahoney
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, July 23 from 4PM until 7PM, and a funeral home chapel service will be celebrated on Thursday, July 24 at 11AM at the Kevin B. I am so sorry to learn of the loss of Paul. I have very fond memories of your summer visits to Ft Wayne each year. We cousins had a lot of fun playing games and being ornery together. I know – it’s so hard to lose someone you love. I am praying for peace and comfort for your hearts.

I am so sorry to hear of Paul’s passing. Haven’t seen him for a while, but have known him since grammar school at the McAvinnue, then onto GLVRTS.

I was so very sorry to hear the heartbreaking news about Paul’s passing. Please accept my deepest condolences. Losing a loved one is never easy, and I can only imagine the weight of this grief.
Paul was always a good friend to all and a truly kind soul.
May he rest in the arms of the Lord, free from pain and at peace. I believe with all my heart that we will see him again.
