DANVILLE, NH – Angelo R. “Richie” Calantonio, 99, of Haverhill passed away on July 19, 2025 peacefully at his home in Danville, NH.
Richie was born in Haverhill to Antonio and Nancy (Fasulo) Colantonio. He attended St. Joseph’s Grammar School and eventually served in the US Army during World War II. Richie was known for always wanting to brighten your day. He never said no and was always willing to help. He had many friends and was a great neighbor. He enjoyed socializing, family gatherings, going out to eat, cooking, skiing and traveling, and loved ballroom dancing. Richie had a positive outlook on life and will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Richie is survived by his son Richard A. Calantonio and his wife Deborah of Brentwood, NH, daughter Jean M. Ralph and her husband Franklin of Kingston, NH, daughter Gail N. Zibolis of Plaistow, NH. He also leaves behind grandchildren Sarah Stockbridge, Kimberly Campbell, Keith Zibolis, Elschen Calantonio and Nicole Calantonio; and great grandchildren Peyton and Addison Stockbridge and Mason and Christopher Zibolis. He was predeceased by his wife Therese M. (Ouellette) Calantonio, his sister Gloria Fasulo, and grandson Thomas Ralph.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, July 23 from 10AM until 12PM followed by a funeral home chapel service at 12PM at the Kevin B. I feel honored to have been able to spend some Tuesday night dinners with Richie. What a wonderful man. He definitely enriched my life. I will miss him greatly.
Richie was a great guy. His laugh was amazing! It was an honor marching next to you in the Sons of Italy drum corp. We had a ball!! So sad I couldn’t make the services. Rest in peace my friend. You will be missed.
